Yokohama A022H0

The Yokohama A022 is an Ultra High Performance Summer tire designed for sports coupes and sports cars. It was developed to provide high levels of grip along with responsive and predictable handling. It is not intended to be used in snow. On the outside, the Yokohama A022 features a directional tread design (with lateral and circumferential tread grooves aligned to efficiently pump water out from under the tire's footprint) to minimize hydroplaning. The resulting large rectangular tread blocks and high grip tread compound provide responsive handling, high-speed stability and traction on wet and dry roads. Internally, the Yokohama A022 features twin steel belts reinforced by nylon to stabilize the tread area and enhance handling and high-speed capability. The polyester cord body and hard sidewall filler helps blend uniform ride quality with lateral stability.
