The HTR H4 is Sumitomo's High
Performance All-Season Radial developed to meet the year-round
driving needs of sports car, coupe & sedan drivers by blending dry
& wet road performance with light snow & slush traction. The HTR
H4 radials combine Sumitomo's high tech radial materials & methods
with their latest All-Season technology.
The Sumitomo HTR H4's advanced
all-season silica tread compound is molded into a pattern that
features stabilized independent shoulder blocks with intermediate
tread blocks to enhance dry cornering & stability, while three
wide circumferential & long parabolic curved grooves combine to
enhance wet traction & reduce the risk of hydroplaning. The HTR
H4's curvilinear siping adds strategically located biting edges in
the tread pattern to increase light snow traction. Internally, the
HTR H4 radial's twin steel belts are reinforced by Sumitomo's
Jointless Nylon B& (JNB) technology which uses spirally wound
reinforcement to provide long term integrity under high speed
conditions while it reduces weight & helps provide more uniform
ride quality.
