The P6 Four Seasons Plus radial is
Pirelli's High Performance All-Season tire developed for the drivers
of high performance coupes and sedans. The P6 Four Seasons Plus is
designed to combine long wear, a comfortable ride and Pirelli's
Extra Low Rolling Resistance (ELRR) system with high performance
handling and year-round all-season traction, even in light snow.
The P6 Four Seasons Plus radial molds Pirelli's 100% silica compound
into an asymmetric tread design featuring a continuous center rib
and tie-barred shoulder blocks to deliver constant road contact that
promotes straight-line tracking, dry road handling and even wear.
Two central circumferential grooves help resist hydroplaning and aid
wet traction, while siped, independent intermediate tread blocks
provide the biting edges needed to generate traction in light snow.
The tire's internal structure includes twin, high tensile steel
belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon to enhance handling by
stabilizing the tread area. The P6 Four Seasons Plus features
Pirelli's Extra Low Rolling Resistance (ELRR) system that integrates
belt, sidewall and carcass compounds and components to reduce weight
and rolling resistance, while optimizing overall integrity.
