The Symmetry radial is a premium
All-Season tire that is comfort tuned for luxury cars, family cars
& minivans. As its name implies, the Symmetry radial was developed
to provide balanced proportions of ride quality, noise comfort &
overall performance, as well as year round traction, even in light
snow. On the outside, the
Symmetry radial features a symmetric tread design with wide,
serrated circumferential tread grooves to evacuate water & slush
out from under the tire’s footprint to enhance foul weather traction
& resist hydroplaning. The tread’s interlocking “S” shaped sipes
provide snow biting edges & are combined with a weather-tuned
tread compound to provide traction on dry, wet & light
snow-covered roads. Internally, the Symmetry radial features twin
steel belts that stabilize the tread area to provide strength &
enhance treadwear, & a polyester cord body to provide a smooth
ride.
The Michelin Symmetry radial’s
sidewall styling, depending on tire size, features subtle black
letters reversed out of a circumferential serrated b& or a narrow
white stripe. They are S- & T-speed rated & available in 80-,
75-, 70-, 65-, & 60-series sizes for 13" through 16" wheel
diameters.
