SilentArmor Technology is designed to handle tough off-road
conditions, provide a smooth ride when driving on-road & generate
tractionin dry, wet & snowy conditions.
On the outside, the Wrangler featuring
SilentArmor Technology has a long-wearing newly engineered silica
blend tread compound molded into a multi-faceted tread design that
blends off-road traction with on-road comfort, while Goodyear's
Durawall rubber compound molded in the baseof the tread grooves
increases resistance to rock drilling. The tire's shoulderdesign &
sidewall offer a rugged appearance that complements the vehicle's
image.
Goodyear's SilentArmor Technology
features an Armor Zone to provide rugged toughness. It consists of
twin high-tensile steel belts reinforced by a layer made with DuPont
KEVLAR cord to combine strength with comfort, Goodyear's Durawall
sidewall rubber compound to help resist punctures, scuffing &
abrasion& a Rim Guard to help protect wheels from accidental on-
or off-road hazards.

Technology also has a polyester cord body to help insulate the
vehicle from impacts & enhance ride comfort.
