The Regatta 2 radial is the Standard
Touring All-Season member of Goodyear’s Integrity family of
passenger tires. Surpassing Goodyear’s original Regatta in virtually
every performance measurement, the Regatta 2 provides touring tire
characteristics for family cars, minivans & light duty trucks, as
well as provides year round traction, even in light snow.
On the outside, the Regatta 2 radial
features a wide symmetric tread design with 4 wide circumferential
tread grooves to evacuate water out from under the tire’s footprint
to enhance wet traction & resist hydroplaning. Its premium
all-season tread rubber compound is molded into a tread design that
features open shoulder grooves & stable independent tread blocks
to enhance foul weather traction while a continuous center rib
reduces noise & promotes treadlife. Internally, the Regatta 2
features twin steel belts that stabilize the tread area to provide
strength & enhance treadwear, & a polyester cord body to provide
a smooth ride.
Depending on size, the Goodyear
Regatta 2 radial’s sidewall styling features a white stripe or
stylized black letters reversed out of a variable depth
circumferential serrated band. They are S- & T-speed rated &
available in 80-, 75-, 70-, 65-, & 60-series sizes for 13" through
16" wheel diameters.
