The Goodyear Fortera featuring
TripleTred Technology is an innovative Highway All-Season light
truck tire developed to give sport utility vehicle owners peace of
mind when driving on any road. It was designed to combine long wear
with remarkable traction in a variety of weather conditions,
including light snow. On the
outside, Fortera TripleTred radials have three specialized tread
compounds molded into a directional tread design that features three
unique tread zones. A Dry Zone uses stable shoulder blocks to
provide confident maneuvering on dry roads, an intermediate Water
Zone has Aquachutes to help propel water away from the tread to
maintain road contact in the rain, & a central Ice Zone features a
heavily siped interlocking rib to enhance traction in light snow &
on ice. On the inside, twin steel belts with spirally wrapped
polyester reinforcement & a two-ply polyester cord body help
deliver strength & durability along with a smooth ride.
Fortera TripleTred radials feature
Goodyear's PermaBlack compound additive to help retain new-tire
appearance throughout the life of the tire.
