The Destination ST is
Firestone's Street/Sport Truck All-Season tire developed for
the drivers of performance pickups, crossovers and sport
utility vehicles looking to combine year-round capabilities
with a bold appearance. The Destination ST is designed to
provide all-season traction and handling, even in light
snow.
The Destination ST uses an all-season tread compound molded
into a unique asymmetrical tread design. Stable outboard
shoulders blend into independent tread blocks separated by
high-angle, crisscross grooves to provide the biting edges
necessary to enhance wet road and light snow traction. The
inboard shoulder's wide circumferential groove and
independent shoulder blocks help disperse water to promote
hydroplaning resistance and foul weather traction.
The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts
reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon to provide strength,
stability and high-speed capability. |
