The 4x4 SportContact is
Continental's Street/Sport Truck Summer tire designed to make ultra
high performance tire qualities available for sport utility
vehicles. Used as original equipment on the Porsche Cayenne S &
Cayenne Turbo, the 4x4 SportContact combines Continental's original
SportContact Ultra High Performance Summer tire's tread design with
the large rim diameter sizes appropriate for light trucks.
On the outside, the 4x4 SportContact features an asymmetric tread
design with large outer shoulder blocks to enhance cornering
stability & control. A continuous center rib enhances steering
response & high-speed stability while wide circumferential &
lateral grooves channel water to reduce the possibility of
hydroplaning.
Continental 4x4 SportContact tires feature blackwall styling & are
available in 55-, 50-, 45-, 40-, 35- & 30-series; H-, V- or
Z-speed rated sizes for 17" through 22" wheel diameters. |
