The Dueler A/T D695 with UNI-T
Technology is Bridgestone's On-/Off-Road All-Terrain tire
developed for pickup, jeep and sport utility vehicle drivers
who are searching for a blend of refinement and traction.
The Dueler A/T D695 is designed to improve on-road
competence without sacrificing off-road or light snow
capabilities.
The Dueler A/T molds Bridgestone's silica-based Long Link
Carbon Black compound into an all-terrain pattern featuring
an aggressive off-shoulder design and independent shoulder
blocks to aid off-road traction while 2-in-1 intermediate
tread blocks and a nearly continuous center rib enhance
on-road stability and ride comfort. Open shoulder slots,
zigzag circumferential grooves and rounded lateral grooves
increase off-road traction and foul-weather performance in
rain and snow. The tire's internal structure includes a
Computer Optimized Component System that includes twin,
high-strength steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped
nylon to stabilize the tread area and enhance durability.
O-Beads (which use a single strand of bead wire continuously
wrapped multiple times until the desired strength is
provided) enhance the tire’s fit to the wheel to improve
uniformity and ride quality. |
