The g-Force Super Sport A/S
is BFGoodrich's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire
developed for the drivers of sports cars, sporty coupes and
performance sedans. The g-Force Super Sport A/S was
developed to be three tires in one to prevent allowing a
little bad weather to spoil the fun. The tire is designed to
thrill even the most passionate driving enthusiast while
providing year-round traction, including in light snow.
The g-Force Super Sport A/S features BFGoodrich's Multi Grip
Tread Technology which uses three unique tread compounds
positioned side-by-side across the tire designed to provide
traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions. The tread
compounds are molded into an aggressive tread pattern with
three dedicated design zones featuring a continuous center
rib for handling along with deep wide vertical grooves,
radically swept back Aqua-Chute lateral grooves for wet
conditions and Snow-Hook tread blocks to provide an
effective footprint in wintry conditions.
The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts
reinforced by BFGoodrich's Precision Tension Containment
System (PReTEc) consisting of a continuous single-strand,
spirally wrapped aramid reinforcement placed precisely under
the tread elements to provide the desired strength while
maintaining a consistent footprint at high speed. The
g-Force Super Sport A/S features dimensionally stable
polyester carcass with g-Control sidewall inserts to blend
ride comfort and responsive handling while a heavy-duty
sidewall rim protector extends just past the edge of most
wheels to resist curb damage. |
