The Tech
ST is the Street/Sport Truck All-Season tire member of AVON Tyres'
family of Tech performance tires. The attractively priced Tech ST is
designed to provide flexibility for the drivers of performance
pickups, as well as sport utility & sport activity vehicles by
providing year-round traction, predictable handling & control in
dry & wet road conditions, as well as in light snow.
On the outside, the Tech ST radials
feature a silica-enhanced all-season tread compound molded into a
symmetric tread design that features large independent tread blocks
to provide stability on dry roads while its grooves help pump water
& slush through the tire's footprint to increase hydroplaning
resistance & foul weather traction. Lateral grooves & multiple
sipes in each tread block increase the number of biting edges to
enhance wet road & light snow traction.
On the inside, the Tech ST features
twin steel belts on top of a polyester cord carcass to blend
predictable handling capabilities with smooth ride qualities.
The Tech ST radials' sidewall
styling features black letters reversed out of a stylized serrated
b& & include a protective "rim recess" on all sizes. Tech ST
radials are available in S-speed rated sizes (with the exception of
the H-speed rated 295/35R24 110H) in 60-, 55-, 50-, 45- &
35-series sizes for 18-, 20- & 24-inch rim diameters.
