Initial Review, 7,000 Miles on Tires
February 02, 2011

What's with all these reviews on here saying this tire's no good in the snow? We've had a challenging winter here in New England, and these BFGs have handled conditions very well. Quiet and comfortable on dry roads, well-composed when wet... A very positive experience overall. It's too early to comment on their long-term performance; I have had different BFGs in the past that were essentially worthless after 12k miles. If that turns out to be the case with these, I'll write again. But so far, so good.

Initial Review, 10,000 Miles on Tires

These tires are loud on dry pavement and have no snow traction. Pick something else. This tire is literally the worst tire I have ever driven in the snow. I am not exagerating. These do not live up to being "all season" tires. I have driven cheap Summer rated tires in the snow on another vehicle that had more traction than these things! Please do not get these tires if you plan to drive in anything more than a snow flurry. Twice this year I have found it impossible to drive because of less than 2 inches of snow! Today, after finding that I couldn't get out of my neighborhood because of a steep hill (that I was able to easily climb every day last year with double the snow on my Pirelli P6's with over 35000 miles on them) I had to turn around. Then the tires lost traction in my driveway and I slid into my garage door. I'm going to have to go get snow tires put on.

Initial Review, 3,500 Miles on Tires

I just recently purchased a new set for my Acura TL TYPE S size 225/50/17(VR)and I must say that these are the best tires I have mounted on this vehicle to date. The original tires were Michelin Pilot MXM4 in size 215/50/17(VR). The g-Force Super Sports A/S tires have a stiffer sidewall for better cornering, more aggressive tread design for better traction on dry and wet road conditions, and deeper tread as well for excellent hydroplaning resistance. I live in the mid-atlantic region of the country and we get a wide variance in weather conditions from deep snow to heavy summer rains and these tires have performed very well to date although our weather has not been as severe as last winter to this point we have had light snow accumulation under 6", some freezing rain and sleet, and fairly heavy rainfall. These tires have performed very well in all of the above weather condition. I would definately reccomend these tires to anyone looking for a very good all-season performance tire! Always remember to rotate, balance, and check your air pressure at the proper intervals to get maximum performance especially in the winter months since the extreme cold weather will naturally cause you to lose air pressure. Enjoy your new BF Goodrich G-Force Super Sport A/S tires and drive with confidence; I'm very happy that I have them mounted on my sport sedan!
