Got these tires for my wife's 2000 Chevy Camaro; what a great choice! I've been a BF Goodrich buyer for years; cars and trucks, and these tires solidify how I feel about BFG; nothing else goes on my vehicles! The Camaro is a twin turbo-charged V6 that we've brought beyond SS standards; car is just nasty when you plant your right foot. These tires keep it "straight with all 4's down!" whether wet or dry. We don't drive the car in our famous upstate NY winters, but early-spring and late-fall coldness has no effect on these tires. Wear is suprisingly good for the amount of lead-footed-ness I'm known for, so I'd expect 20,000+ miles with no problem. Two thumbs up to BFG!! Buy these tires!! ...And these 275/40ZR-17's look great with chrome torque thrust rims too!

This is the second set that I have had on this car. Neither is getting good wear, 15,000 for 1st set and probably the same for the second set. My son recently hit a pot hole that bubbled the sidewall of one tire and it had to be replaced. However on the plus side, these tires transformed the driving experience in my 1999 Volvo C70. The car turns in crisply and corners extremely well. It has made the drive to work through a particular set of twisty turns so much fun that I will put up with the poor wear and probably stay with the brand and model for this car. In so far as snow and ice, they are only fair on ice, but when you have more than 50% tread they do very well in snow up to 6". However once the tread drops below 50%, snow driving becomes far more challenging. Never had any issues with noise, probably because they wore out so quickly.

Coming from the pirelli pzero neros that were on the car, this is night and day difference. I live in NYC so the streets are terrible and we get a good mix of snow/rain/ice in the winter. I can say that these tires impressed me. They communicate well with me as far as available traction. This is my second year using them. They are great tires, and I highly recommend them to my friends. The tires strong points are: wet traction is never a problem unless your an idiot. They cut through water and shed it very well. They don't hydroplane. The tires feel equally at home in the dry and build up heat very quickly and become very sticky in the dry. They don't degrade very much due to arctic weather conditions which caused the pirrelli tires and other tires ive had to become rock hard and loose grip.In light snow they do very well as long as your conscientious in your driving, so 4-6 inches of snow is not a problem even with a low slung car.The steering response is superb, they do act as if they are summer tires in the summer, and keep their manners in the winter. Ice traction is also superb considering this is an all season performance tire. Again as long as the driver does not drive like banzai Joe. The Not so good; don't think about deep snow, but then again these are not designed for it. So no point in beating a dead horse here. The tires follow the grooves on the road, again not making excuses but the original wheel and tires on this care were wimpy 235/55/r17 vs these beafier 275/40/r18's all around. If your going wide in the front expect this. I knew this going in.These are not comfortable tires, they have a very hard sidewall, so if you have soft rims they will bend with large potholes, or expect soft ride look elsewhere. For me I care more about performance then comfort so the point is mute.Overall, great tires, when these are shot, they will be replaced with more of the same. 10/10 in my book, closes thing to master or all trades as you get...
