Initial Review, 20,000 Miles on Tires

I bought a pair to replace the Kumho's that came on the car when I bought it used. Liked them at the time, and bought another pair soon after for the front. Great dry and wet traction, awful snow/ice of course...but I have another vehicle for that. After 10k miles I started hearing a loud WAWAWA sound from the back and had them rotated. Sound went to the front so I knew it was the tire. To be honest it sounds exactly like the mud terrains I had on my Jeep years ago. The tire store tried to tell me it is my CV joint (which obviously isn't the case). Basically I'm stuck with these another 20k miles, listening (and feeling) this loud vibration.I won't be getting them again. The new Michelin LTX MS2's I just put on the truck are supremely quiet compared to these things.

Having tried many brands on my Trans Am, the BF Goodrich g-Force Sport on my Mazda were excellent. They provided great cornering and summer performance. They lasted 3 years which is more than I could say for any tire I put on the Trans Am. I typically take the tire down to the wear bares so some people might not consider them 'lasting'. Also, they get 'flat spots' when the temperature is below 35F but that's true for any summer tire. I liked the tire so much I bought a new set.

Initial Review, 16,000 Miles on Tires

Purchased the G-Force Sports while I lived in Arizona to replace worn Summoto HRT+. Breakin was a slippery 150 miles, after that though they turned into glue. My miata is not stock, it has a Spec suspension, Supercharger, headers, 3" exhaust, and a 6 speed Transmission. It is dynoed @ 245 rear wheel horse power and weighs 2300 Lbs with me in it. Bought these because my summoto's were bald, on hand cash was short and these were on sale. I am very happy with the performance of these tires in dry conditons, I can dump the clutch at 6000 RPM and only get about 8' of burn before they catch where the Summoto's would burn for 15' to 20'. Driving the twisties with these are great. The tire is very predictable. Just before grip fails, the tire will let you know you are riding on the edge. Wet traction is good, I went through a pool of water @ 65 mph that covered my side of the road for roughly 30' and was 3" deep yesterday after 16,000 miles and the car didn't hydroplane. That being said, treadwear has been great. They DO NOT have as much traction as the Summoto's in ice or snow due to the lack of tread siping. The tires loud, but my car has no sound insulation or carpet so make what you will of that. Overall, I am happy with the tire. A friend has G-Force T/A KDW 2's on his miata in my size (215/40/16), I like the way they ride a little better while keeping good traction so I believe they will be my next tire purchase. That will be atleast another 15,000 miles if the current treadwear rate continues.

Initial Review, 57,000 Miles on Tires

I've just purchased my third set of these tires for my Fit. My wife and I are aggressive SoCal street drivers, with lots of commuting, occasional 4-6 hour highway trips, and some backroad canyon carving afternoons thrown into the mix. The g-Force Sport was originally recommended to me by a friend who does freelance import car performance testing for magazines and online pubs, and his advice was spot-on. The tires wear well considering their high performance. Dry weather cornering is sticky, smooth and stable. The car breaks away predictably (typical Fit understeer or induced oversteer) when pushed to the limit. Cornering in the wet is a treat, with responses similar to in the dry. As expected, the tires become treacherous when the temp is below 35F and there is zero traction on snow or slush - don't even try (I did and got totally freaked out.) After going through two sets of the g-Force Sport in 57K miles I'm ready for another set.
