Chris Rado Will Run Continental Tires in Finals of Super Lap Battle and Redline Time Attack Series

Fort Mill, SC – (November 11, 2009) – Veteran racer Chris
Rado of WORLD Racing will campaign his Scion tC on Continental tires during
the upcoming Superlap Battle finals, as well as in the Unlimited FWD class
of the Redline Time Attack Series.
Rado is debuting Continental tires, the result of a new strategic alliance between Continental Tire & Hoosier Racing Tire. "We’ve worked long & hard to bring this alliance with Hoosier Racing Tire to fruition," said Travis Roffler, director of marketing, Continental Tire. "The combination of Continental’s expertise is in performance street tires, & Hoosier’s industry-leading technology in race tire development will be hard to beat. & putting a proven winner like Rado on our tires will make him a force to be reckoned with." In addition, Rado’s Scion tC was named Best Asian Import in the seventh annual Gran Turismo Awards ceremony, held at the Palms Resort & Casino’s Rain Nightclub during the recent SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The Gran Turismo® Awards, hosted by Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA), embrace the passion of customizing cars & showcase the efforts in the Gran Turismo® franchise.
