Initial Review, 10,000 Miles on Tires

Tires were good for about 5,000 miles after that noise level was high & wet traction fell off quickly. At 10,000 miles tires completely wore out. I admit I drive fairly aggressive, but tire life should be greater than this. Will not buy this tire again. Not sure if I would even buy this br& again. Went back to Bridgestones much happier.

great tire...don't know what's going on ...is it being discontinued? i wanted these for my Scion, but had to go with Yoko Sdrive...that tire isn't anywhere as good as the Avon

had two sets of the stock Goodrich G force tires & wanted to try something different & hopefully more quiet. These were pretty decent tires but they are almost worn out & they only have about 14000 miles on them. I was able to get about 23000 on a set of the Goodrich tires. so I would not buy a set again. not sure about the next set but because my wife is going to be driving it, I think something a little more forgiving with low road noise & longer tread life: maybe a set of Kumho's. I bought these tires for their high ratings for noise & comfort. They are quiet, but they ride much harder than the Dunlop Sport 5000 Asyms that came off. The 245/45's are on the rear of my car & limit me to half-throttle off the line. You might like them if what you want is to cruise in a car with soft springs & shocks.

I've had these installed for just over 30k miles, the fronts are down to the wear bars but the rears probably have 15k miles left. I have not noticed any appreciable change in noise or h&ling with age. These are NOT true ultra high performance summer tires. They are more along the lines of the OEM tires (aka touring tires) with slightly improved response, lower noise & a cheaper price. When you get close to the limit you notice the lack of steering sharpness & general mid-corner twitchiness of these tires. If you want a true [ultra] high performance tire look elsewhere. Otherwise, if your expectations are realistic, these tires are a great value.

Tyres were better than the OEM Goodyears, But tire wear was the same. But the cost was much lower than OEM. Expected a little more than 12K on these
